Mission

The Little Servants began their various apostolic activities
in response to new needs of the Church and society,
beginning with their first assignment to Guhapdeok Parish.
They are currently serving in 35 parishes across 12 dioceses.
(Including 2 mission stations and 1 diocesan office.)

Overseas Mission

"My only desire is to pass on the flame of faith. That is all. Living as a missionary in Korea, I have never wished to be anything else."
The Little Servants continue the missionary work of our founder in China, Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines, Argentina, and Bolivia.

Welfare · Accompaniment

The Little Servants particularly cared for the poor as a priority,
and were sent to care for war orphans, the wounded,
and families and elderly people devastated by war.
Today, their mission has expanded
to children, youth, people with disabilities, the elderly,
North Korean defectors, migrants, and refugees.

Education · Healthcare

Little Servants! Love poverty, the poor, and the lowly.
To continue the Incarnation of the Lord,
we must undoubtedly draw near to the poor;
There is no other way.

The early experiences of the Little Servants,
who lived with and cared for the helpless sick
within the community during the congregation's initial period,
still continue today.

Justice · Peace · Ecology

The Little Servants, who have long devoted themselves to the poorest and most desperate
could not turn away from creation suffering from ecological destruction and the climate crisis, rooted in unjust social systems.
They are therefore committed to diverse apostolates for justice, peace, and the integrity of creation.

JPIC

To realize the JPIC values
of Justice, Peace, and the Integrity of Creation
  • They discern the signs of the times with a prophetic vision.
  • They strive for formation, education, and sharing
    (operating the JPIC Formation School).
  • They stand in solidarity and commit themselves
to addressing the urgent needs of the world.

Ecological Community

In this era of industrialization and capitalism,
which has led to ecological destruction,
we dream of a sustainable world through alternative communities
that embrace sustainable farming and lifestyles.
A world where humanity, nature, the Earth,
and all of creation can breathe as one.

Ecological Transformation
Spaces and Projects

In this era, afflicted by disconnection from self, others, and nature,
because we dream of an ecological transformation stemming
from the life of Christ,
we seek to respond creatively and actively,
through various spaces and programs,
to the voice calling for the restoration of justice, peace, and life.
